I was really curious to check out JoeShopping.com! I went and signed up (always free) and it just took a minute. You can flesh out your profile a bit and you get to include your favorite website link and download a photo/ image avatar. What I found really fun about this site was that it suggests random friends making it easy to get social right away and I recognized a bunch of other bloggers right away. So that is kind of neat that you can have an extra way to interact with your favorite bloggers! They also highlight the most active members which is great to you know who will be fun to become friends with!

Besides the social activity that JoeShopping offers, they also offer big prizes! Every month, JoeShopping gives away $1,000 worth of prizes to their members! Each month, you just exchange JoePoints you get for using the site for entries into their Monthly Sweepstakes!

JoeShopping is basically a combination of comparison shopping (like amazon.com or shopping.com), crossed with the best parts of various social networks (Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare). Users can post photos of themselves with their newest outfits, add videos of their kids playing with their new toys, write a product review, write a blog post about their fondest birthday presents, share their latest shopping adventure, and just plain chit-chat! Beyond that, users can earn badges based on doing various activities. They’re just fun, cute little achievements to show off on your profile page. In short, it’s a hefty social network themed around shopping.

My favorite things about JosShopping are the Comparison Shopping option (they don’t sell, they just give prices at different sites), the hot deals section, the printable grocery coupons, and the product reviews! Go find out what your favorite part is!
