Captain D’s New Look

I recently attended a blogger event at a Captain D’s.  I had never been to a Captain D’s before but they said that they changed ownership about 2 years ago and they have been making a lot of changes to make a better menu and many Captain D’s will be getting a new look as well.  It was a colorful, fun beach look with some big community tables which would be great for kids sports teams to meet around.

They had a nice kids menu selection where the kids can choose between 4 mains and they can choose between 10 sides.  I thought it was healthier than your typical fast food which is a huge plus in my book.  Below my daughter is enjoying her kids meal- popcorn shrimp, fried okra, and corn on the cob with an activities book.

I got the Cajun meal.  (The New Orleans girl in me coudn’t resist.)  I had a baked potato and a side salad as my sides.

I hardly ever eat fast food but I will add this to my list of places to stop when I am on the road.  It was pretty tasty and at a great price.

I did attend a blogger event where I was provided with samples but  I was not obligated to post. I received no monetary compensation and the opinions expressed are my own.
