Gluten Free Bar Review and Giveaway

The Gluten Free Bar (aka GFB)

Here is the story of The Gluten Free Bar (aka GFB), a little gluten-free nutrition bar company that is growing quickly. The Gluten Free Bar was started by two brothers who believe “those that eat gluten-free by necessity or by choice deserve a better tasting gluten-free protein bar.” An admirable idea and the taste is catching on!  The idea behind The GFB is to create something that tastes great, uses just a few simple ingredients, and is also highly nutritious. The all natural, vegan GFB is high in protein and crafted in small batches from quality ingredients like organic brown rice.

The Gluten Free Bar Review

gluten free bar
I am always looking to provide healthy snacks for my family and I enjoy trying new products that are health oriented so stuck a few of The GFB, Gluten Free Bars, in my purse to have handy for me kids.  The other day we went to their music lessons right after school and they had a few minutes to pass before their lessons so I broke out a Peanut Butter Chocolate Gluten Free Bar and they loved it.  What is even more important is that I loved the results.  They both were satisfied and did not get sugar highs.  Their lessons went really well with them both staying focused and full the whole time.  I have tried various snacks before for this purpose and the GFB hit the spot better than any other so far.

Here are the ingredients for the Oatmeal Raisin Gluten Free Bar:

organic sunflower seeds, organic brown rice syrup, organic brown rice, certified gluten-free oats, whole grain brown rice protein, organic agave nectar, California raisins, dates, soy protein isolate, golden flaxseed, natural vanilla, and sea salt

That’s it.  Simple natural ingredients that you will recognize and that taste good while being good for you.  The bars are chewy and moist without the grainy chalky taste that some protein bars have.  These Gluten Free Bars are high in protein, 11-13 grams per bar depending on the flavor.
