WishMirror is a new Facebook App that lets you create your a gift registry or wish list so that it is ready for any gifting occasion from Christmas, to birthdays, or baby showers! With WishMirror, there will be no need to drop those gift hints. (You know, the hints that you think are so obvious until you get flannel pajamas instead of the XBox 360 you really wanted!)
WishMirror is a new high-tech, clean, social yet privacy-respecting app on Facebook for wishlists (gift registries) So, how can you get started? It’s easy. Let me show you!
How to Make a WishMirror Wishlist on Facebook:
1. Go to the WishMirror Facebook Page and then you hit the “Go to App” Button.
2. On the permissions page, click Allow.
Step 2 is Permissions, which is a two-step routine procedure required by Facebook of all apps. Just click “Allow” on the permissions pages so that your WishMirror app functions properly.
3. Add a few things.
You will see an empty wishlist, but after you add a few things you’d like to get as gifts it will look like this:
See that lavender omnibar? It’s one of several ways to add gifts to your wishlist. Say, you liked something on Amazon.com. To add it to your wishlist, simply copy and paste the item’s URL into the omnibar and voila!
4. Get Gift Ideas.
If you click on the gift box icon above your wishlist or on the +Add Gifts button, you will see a selection of gift ideas, which you can filter by category or price range:
Add gifts to your wishlists by clicking on + next to those gifts.
5. Reserve a Gift.
When you visit a friend’s wishlist to buy her a gift for, say, Christmas, you can Reserve an item you like off of her wishlist, so that none of her other friends get her the same gift. A “Reserved” stamp will be placed over that gift and the item will be added to your iReserved tab for your shopping convenience.
6. Privacy Settings
Want to make a wishlist that is accessible only to some of your friends and not others? WishMirror lets you do that! You can exclude people or name specific people who can see your wishlists.
