My kids just got their first report cards and the school year is officially in full swing! Fall sports seasons and winter sports seasons (depending on where you live and which sports!) are kicking off for the kiddos. My son is finishing up with flag football and getting ready to start basketball soon. From volleyball and football to chess club, coding club, and piano practice, kiddos all across the country are gearing up for their favorite autumn after-school activities. My kids keep me on the run a lot but I love that they are involved and I enjoy getting to see them with their teams, classmates, and carpool friends. Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen wants to help make it easy to treat the team to homemade goodness without all the work of doing it yourself. This post is sponsored by Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen but all opinions expressed are my own.
Why do they call it Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen?
So what is a scratch kitchen? Well, the term is referring to made from scratch. I know it is a restaurant and so you are thinking they make things from scratch but so many chains don’t make things from scratch! For example, most salad dressing comes out of big vats at many chains. At, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, they make their own salad dressing.
Here is the scoop in their own words, “To us, making things from scratch means battering your chicken tenders before you fry them. It means smoking your own ribs. It means making your own soup each morning. And it means our food just tastes better. We are known for making things in-house like our famous Honey-Butter Croissants, our Homemade Chicken Pot Pie, our hand-breaded Fried Chicken Tenders, and our In-House Smoked BBQ Ribs.”
