How To Make Healthy Essential Oils Roller For Back To School
Making this Healthy Roller for your kids takes about 60 seconds! It’s quick and easy to make and just as easy to use.
Start with your 20 ml roller bottle. Add 1 drop of each of the essential oils for back to school that I listed in the ingredients section. (One drop of each EO will keep the dilution rate at just below 1% which is a nice gentle dilution for younger children.) These essential oils have been selected because of their many benefits but especially because they kill germs and help to support an healthy immune system.
Once your essential oils have been added, grab your organic liquid coconut oil and top off the rest of your bottle. Other carrier oils that can be used are grapeseed oil, avocado oil, or apricot oil. Pop the roller top on, give a gentle shake and it’s ready to use!
Roll on bottoms or feet or up and down your child’s spine before they head off to school!
Conclusion
Using essential oils, like eucalyptus and lemon, in a gentle dilution with a nourishing carrier oil can be a natural way to support your child’s wellness during the back-to-school season. When used safely and thoughtfully, these powerful plant extracts may help protect against germs and promote overall well-being. Whether applied to the feet or diffused at home, this immune-boosting blend offers a comforting and holistic addition to your family’s daily routine.

Thanks for sharing with us this information! I really want to try it since my 2 year old son gets sick all the time when at school, despite eating greens, veggies, fruits and almost 0 added sugar. Have you used it on your children when they were this age? Thanks in advance!

I have! I started using this blend on my children when my youngest turned 2. You can try a very small diluted amount first to ensure there is no sensitivity or you can always check with your doctor before use to be sure they think it is a good fit.

I really appreciate how clearly you break down the ingredients and benefits of each essential oil in the “Healthy Roller” blend. The step‑by‑step instructions (just one drop per oil, topped off with carrier, apply to feet or spine) make it so accessible—even for busy parents. Your reminder to adjust for younger kids (omitting strong oils like oregano or cinnamon bark) is thorough and responsible.
What stands out most is your holistic approach: not just “here’s a DIY roller,” but “this can support immunity and emotional health during that stressful back‑to‑school transition.” That dual focus—antiseptic benefits and comfort—feels like it covers all the bases parents worry about.
If I were to add one suggestion, it might be to include a quick note on sourcing quality oils: perhaps mention third‑party tested brands, or how to check for pure (versus diluted) essential oils. That small tip can help readers avoid the infamously counterfeit market.
Overall, this blend feels both practical and caring—exactly the kind of tool modern families need as they head into school season. Thanks for sharing such a grounded, thoughtful recipe!
