I love watching my kids’ imaginations! Isn’t it so fun to see their little minds working. My two children love puppet shows. We have made many puppets through the past couple years but these Bunny Finger Puppets were particularly fun for us! These are so easy to make and it is a totally mess free craft! Those are always pluses, right moms? You more than likely have everything you need in your craft box. Even the littlest of crafters can participate in making finger puppets kids will love.
Bunny Finger Puppets Kids Will Play With: A Pipe Cleaners Craft Tutorial
Supplies needed for your Bunny Rabbit Finger Puppets:
- pipe cleaners (grey, white or tan)
- googly eyes
- small pink pom poms
- medium side pom poms to match the colors of the pom poms
- scissors
- glue (stick or hot)
Instructions For Making Finger Puppets:
Grab your supplies and head to an open spot. We like to spread out when crafting! Start with your pipe cleaners. To make the body of the bunny rabbit, you are just going to wrap your pipe cleaner around your pointer finger so it looks like a coil.
Next, grab a medium size pom pom that’s the same color as your pipe cleaner and glue it to the top of your pipe cleaner coil. Follow that by gluing on 2 eyes and a little pink pom pom for the nose.
The last thing that your bunny finger puppet needs is some ears! Cut a small piece of pipe cleaner to match the color of your rabbit and bend it to make 2 ears. Finish by gluing those to the back of the head of the rabbit. You can really make all kinds of animal finger puppets! Yellow pipe cleaners for chicks, brown pipe cleaners for bears…all different kinds of choices!
These pipe cleaners crafts really make adorable finger puppets and would be a great little Easter craft if you need one! Does your child like puppets? Give these bunny finger puppets a try! Make one for each finger and your child could put on a puppet show with their finger puppets for kids!
