As our family vacation this summer, we took a trip to the Smoky Mountains. We camped in Elkmont Campground, visited Gaitlinburg, and stopped in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on the way home so we could visit Dollywood Theme Park. We stayed at Comfort Suites Pigeon Forge which was close to Dollywood. I was provided with the hotel room at Comfort Suites Pigeon Forge in the hopes that I would share my honest opinions with you.
Comfort Suites Pigeon Forge TN Review
Since 2011, ComfortInn or Comfort Suites properties have invested more than a quarter-billion dollars in property improvements and the Comfort Suites Pigeon Forge is one of the renovated properties so I was excited to check it out. I was pleased that it was close to things but set back a bit from the noise and hustle. We were able to walk to dinner at the BullFish Grill, which was delicious, and also to enjoy pretty views from the hotel.
Comfort Suites Pigeon Forge Hotel Room Review-
We had a two queen bed suite which comes with a sofa bed living area. I thought the room size was really nice and the living area made the room feel spacious with even the four of us. The beds had a stylish look and soft feel with 100% cotton sheets. Beds also offered two pillows for each person so you can chose between a soft or firm pillow or both. I like that!
Other room features included a nice work desk with a comfortable, office-quality work chair and electrical plugins + usb plugin on top of the desk, free high speed WiFi, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and flat screen TV. The bathroom was nice and spacious and very clean. There was also a sink area outside the bathroom which was great for one of us to be able to brush our hair or wash our hands while the someone else was in the shower. Our balcony overlooked the pool but you can also request mountain views subject to availability.
Comfort Suites Pigeon Forge Hotel Room Amenities Review-
Comfort Suites Pigeon Forge has an indoor pool, an indoor hot tub, and an outdoor pool. We spent all of our time at the outdoor pool and it was really fun.
Comfort Suits Pigeon Forge had a nice business center (two computers and a pinter) and seating area in the lobby. There was a fitness center and a retail marketplace with frozen meals, drinks, and snacks. There was even a little arcade that my husband used to school our kids in Mrs. Pacman!
Free Hot Breakfast
They had a nice big selection for breakfast including hot items. There were eggs, and biscuits, sausage and gravy. There was a waffle maker with plain batter and blueberry batter. Additionally, there were pieces of whole fruit, boiled eggs eggs, yogurt, bagels, danish and donuts. My son cut a donut in half and inserted a sausage! They offered something for everyone.
