I like all marble runs but I love the Cuboro Cugolino Marble Run. It is awesome because it is more than just watching the marbles roll; it is also building. This great collection of wooden blocks, in different shapes and colors, can be arranged in endless possibilities. This is a toy that is fun for the parent as well as the kids. The Cugolino Wood Marble Run is engaging the brain so it provides a fun way for adults to interact with kids. Children love to see you building and creating too! My kids and I have tons of fun with the Cugolino marble maze system.
Cugolino Marble Run Encourages Creativity and Building Skills
Cugolino is a great introduction to the fascinating world of Cuboro for younger ages. The Cugolino wooden marble run is specifically aimed at children ages 3 and over. Cugolino is free form building for younger kids. It allows for various elements as well as different shapes and colors to be used to build the marble run. Children use these wood building blocks to design a different Cuboro Cugolino marble track every time they play!
Part of what makes a Cuboro Cugolino set such a great toy for children is that they can build a 3D world, explore the world of physics, and discover cause and effect. Cugolino teaches kids to plan, build, and observe. It builds confidence and encourages creativity. Kids can continue to grow their cognitive development and use new skills as they get older to create even more elaborate designs by adding a new Cuboro Cugolino set.
Basic Cugolino Marble Run Sets:
There are two basic Cugolino marble run sets. There is the Cuboro Cugolino set which is sort of the deluxe set (includes 37 blocks) and the Cuboro Cugolino Start which is sort of like the basic set (includes 27 blocks, no colors). Each of the track elements are made from the highest quality Swiss beech wood from exemplary cultivated forests with sustainable harvesting standards.
In addition to this basic wooden marble run for younger children, there are various supplementary sets that can be added as the children progress in their building skills. These range of new concepts will introduce fun new physics tricks that make the marble run even cooler.
4 Cugolino Marble Run Supplemental Sets:
These Cuboro sets each introduce new track elements and funny effects.
Cugolino Magic (with hidden magnets to create a “free floating” bridge)
Cugolino Hit (uses physics to create a Rube Goldberg-esque catapult for the marbles)
Cugolino Sub (offers the possibility to build 3 parallel running tracks and the marble can run under the tracks)
Cugolino Pop (with little trampoline blocks)
Cugolino Pop adds BOUNCE to the Cuboro and Cugolino sets. By using hard rubber “trampolines”, POP adds a whole new direction to Cuboro wooden marble runs– UP! The marbles bounce over obstacles, from one trampoline to another or directly into a “catch” element. The Cugolino Pop hard rubber trampolines can be placed anywhere in your wooden marble run construction to create dramatic drop-and-bounces, angled jumps and double-bounces! I’m talking about major marble run fun! Check out Cugolino Pop in action in this short video.
I was provided with the Cugolino set by Oh! Toys in the hopes that I would share my honest opinions. The opinions expressed are my own and those of my children.
