I love nature. I love being outside in the sun and fresh air. I want to make sure to pass that on to my kids because I think it is healthy for them and it increases their physical activity naturally. I also want them to love nature and learn to respect it by treating it with care. PBS has just come out with a great free activity resource for kids that encourages outdoor activity and educational exploration- the Dinosaur Train Nature Trackers Club!
“Dinosaur Train Nature Trackers Club is a community of young children, their families and educators committed to learning about nature and doing good things for their environment. Nature Trackers enjoy exploring and having adventures, respecting their environment, collecting things, tracking and observing plants and animals, and challenging themselves to get outside and make discoveries every day. “
Your Child Can Join the Nature Tracker Club For Free!
It is easy and free to get your child learning and doing with the PBS Dinosaur Nature Trackers Club! Just print out the Nature Trackers Guide Book to get started. Once, your child completes all four challenges in the Guide Book, they can then mail in the membership form included in the Guide Book and receive an official Nature Trackers token!
But the fun doesn’t stop there! The Nature Tracker Club also offers a monthly nature challenge with activities and ideas for fun projects. Each challenge is fun an educational and can be simplified for younger children or intensified for older kids. The Nature Tracker Club really is a great way to inspire a love of science and give your child a leg up when they encounter these topics in their school science classes. My seven year old daughter is really excited about her Nature Tracker guide book and challenges.
The Nature Tracker club has some fun bonus kids activities like Collect a Critter and free printable pages. This really is a great resource for all kids and their parents and teachers. Enjoy!
My daughter loves the Dinosaur Train- she has wanted to be a paleontologist for 3 years now and she is only seven! Here she is in her “Nature Trackers Clubhouse” with Dinosaur Train Stick On Wall Mural! She loves it and I loved that the vinyl stick on mural won’t damage my walls or peel paint.
As they say on Dinosaur Train, “Get outside, get into nature, and make your own discoveries!”
I did receive information on the Nature Tracker Club as well as the mural from a PR Firm. I received no monetary compensation and the opinions expressed are my own.
