One of my favorite parts of having a backyard space is the pops of color and the array of different ornaments that express your own personal style. Whether it is metal art or fabric pots, having those distinguishing pieces in your backyard is what gives it a personality of its own. Sometimes those personal pieces can come at a huge expense to your pocket books. But honestly, if I can make something with my hands, even if it isn’t expensive, I prefer getting down in the dirt and doing it myself! So, I’ve compiled a great list of DIY Backyard Projects that will add a bit of personality to your own backyard space. So, let’s get down to it, check out these awesome DIY Backyard Projects that will surely add personality and a pop of color to your outdoors space! To see the full tutorials click their titles.

Now, I might be bias because this tutorial came from my own blog over at Hansen and Heidelberg but this has to be one of my personal favorites. Fabric Pots have slowly been emerging in popularity and I just love the assortment of designs! The great thing about fabric is, there is an array to choose from, so unless you use the same fabric, everyone will wind up with something different!

Growing up, my grandma always had a stock full of gourds. She would clean them out, dry them, and then hang them all across her backyard for the birds. Your own personal style to it!
