DIY Pillow Spray Ingredients & Supplies Needed:
- Glass Bottle (6 fl oz) with spray nozzle
- Distilled Water
- Witch Hazel
- Lavender essential oil
- Cedarwood essential oil
- Measuring Spoon

- Promotes Relaxation & Sleep – Both oils have sedative properties and help with insomnia. Lavender is particularly well-known for this.

They have very different scents but go together well. Lavender is floral and great for relaxation. Cedarwood has an earthy scent and qualities that make it great for grounding emotions. They make a powerful sleep blend.
How To Make A Lavender Pillow Spray:
Here is how to how to make pillow spray with essential oils and I bet it is easier than you think! Gather your supplies and get your child to help too!
First take your small spray bottle use a small funnel to add 1 tsp of witch hazel to your bottle. This helps disperse the essential oils throughout the water. Witch Hazel also helps the scent of the essential oils linger for a longer period of time!
After adding your witch hazel, add your essential oils. 20 drops of Lavender essential oil and 15 drops of Cedarwood essential oil. If you prefer you could use only lavender oil. However, I like the blend of lavender and cedarwood for even better for deep sleep. Both of these essential oils are calming, soothing, gentle and relaxing. Lavender essential oil is the perfect essential oil to help you sleep and is more floral and light; gentle on sensitive skin. These are the perfect oils to use before bedtime for restful sleep. I love the sweet scent of these natural fragrances.
After your essential oils are added, fill the rest of the bottle with your distilled water. Place the spray top back on and give a gentle shake. Your deep sleep pillow spray is ready to use.
How To Use Lavender Pillow Spray:
This kids pillow spray can be applied with 2-3 sprays of light mist over their pillow.
