Try Using Essential Oil For Energy With This DIY Pre-Workout Energy Boost Oil

Essential Oils For Energy

Essential oils can be a natural way to boost energy and enhance focus. To create my blend, I used some of the best essential oils known for their energizing properties:

  1. Peppermint: Known for its refreshing and invigorating scent, peppermint oil can help improve concentration and reduce fatigue.
  2. Wintergreen: Similar to peppermint, wintergreen oil has a refreshing aroma that can help enhance focus and energy.
  3. Rosemary: Rosemary oil is known to stimulate the brain, improve memory, and boost mental clarity.
  4. Ginger: Known for its warming properties, ginger oil can help increase energy levels and reduce tiredness. If you are missing one of the other essential oils for energy that I suggested, you may want to substitute this one.
  5. Grapefruit: A citrus oil, grapefruit is energizing and can help improve mood and mental alertness. This is a good substitute for rosemary in your DIY blends.

Supplies/Ingredients Needed for your Pre-Workout Energy Boost Oil:

  • 1 oz glass bottle
  • Young Living Peppermint essential oil
  • Young Living Wintergreen Essential oil
  • Young Living Rosemary essential oil
  • liquid coconut oil (Serves as a carrier oil. May sub jojoba oil.)

Essential Oil Blend For Energy: Instructions On How To Make Natural Energy Boost Oil

Grab your dropper bottle and your essential oils for energy. Add 10 drops of Peppermint essential oil, 10 drops of Wintergreen essential oil and 5 drops of your Rosemary essential oil to your empty glass dropper bottle. (I suggest glass because it won’t interact with essential oils where plastic will.) Once your essential oils have been added, fill the rest of the bottle up with your liquid coconut oil. Give a gentle shake and you are ready to use it!

How to use your Pre-Workout Natural Boost Oil:

If you have never used essential oils before, you may want to read these safety tips first to test for skin irritation or sensitivity.

This energy essential oil blend is for topical use. Add 3-4 drops into the palm of your hand. Rub palms together and apply oil on the tops of your shoulders and to the back of your neck. You may also want to rub a bit on your wrists as well.
Important: After applying your Pre-Workout Energy Boost Oil, make sure to wash your hands! You don’t want to accidentally rub your eyes with minty oils on your hands (believe me! It will burn).  Enjoy that refreshing cooling blend while working out!
