It doesn’t seem possible that Thanksgiving is this coming week. Where does the time go? We’ll be spending Thanksgiving Day at my brother’s with most of my family.  It seems Thanksgiving kicks off the season of parties. In the coming weeks so many holiday get togethers are being planned and taking place. With friends and family who have so many people to see over the holidays, we tend to have parties and celebrations for weeks. Whether it’s Christmas Eve at our home, a sledding party for kids and adults, or an ice skating party at the local rink, there are many reasons for keeping simple holiday invitations on hand.  These free printable holiday party invitations are easy to customize, cute, and are easy to print up- you can’t beat that!

Winter Party Invitations With A Snowflake Theme

Winter party invitations are an important element for any winter-themed celebration. Invitations set the mood and theme for the event. A well-designed winter party invitation can convey the festive, cozy, or elegant atmosphere you want to create. Invitations ensure that guests have all the necessary details about the party, such as the date, time, location, dress code, and any special instructions or themes.

Receiving a beautiful, thoughtfully designed invitation can build anticipation and excitement for the upcoming event. It helps guests look forward to the celebration. Sending out invitations, whether digital or printed, gives the event a sense of formality and importance. It shows that you are putting effort into planning and organizing a special occasion. Including personal touches, such as handwritten notes, can make guests feel special and valued.

While these invitations are perfect for family parties or adult gatherings, they are simple enough for my daughter’s annual gift exchange party with her friends.  Because they are more winter themed they will work great for any party plans through March.

Winter Wonderland Party Invitations

A Winter Wonderland Party is a themed celebration that captures the magic and beauty of winter. It’s often characterized by elegant, snowy decorations, cool color schemes, and festive activities. The color scheme typically includes whites, silvers, blues, and sometimes hints of gold or soft pastels to mimic a snowy, frosty environment. Fake snow, icicles, frosted windows, snowflakes, and ice sculptures are popular choices. Soft, twinkling lights, string lights, candles, and lanterns add a warm, cozy glow to the wintry setting.

For themed winter parties, invitations can introduce the theme and ensure that guests are aware of any specific dress codes or activities related to the theme, whether it’s a holiday party, a winter wonderland, or a cozy fireside gathering. Beautifully designed invitations can serve as a memento for guests, reminding them of the enjoyable time they had at the event.

Conclusion

My big kids are with their dad for Christmas day this year so we plan a special Christmas Eve gathering at our home so the kids can see all of their cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We have some of our favorite snacks, serve dinner, and share the evening together.  I love having everyone together, laughing and enjoying each other’s company.  The house always feels more cozy and warm when it’s filled with those we love.  These invitations will be great for sending to our family for this year’s party.  Do you think you will use these free printable holiday invitations for your holiday get togethers?

What holiday gatherings and parties do you have planned in the coming weeks? I hope you enjoy these free printable invitations for your winter parties. Don’t you just love snowflakes?

The snowflakes are so pretty. My husband’s a high football coach so we get to go elsewhere for Thanksgiving. After that we play it by ear as to where we go and what we do. How pretty! We are not having a party this year, but I do have some friends that are. This would be perfect for them.
