How To Make Infused Water

  1. Start with your herb or spice and place it in the container and muddle it. Be careful not to over muddle. How much you put in is personal preference.
  2. Slice fruits and herbs so their flavors infuse more easily. Next, add your fresh fruit to the jar. How much fruit you use is personal preference.
  3. Mix and gently muddle the herbs and fruit together.
  4. If you are using mason jars, fill the bottle with ice. If you are using a pitcher or beverage dispenser, add a large layer of ice.
  5. Fill the container(s) with water. Refrigerate it for at least 2-4 hours for the flavors to blend. For stronger flavors, you can let it infuse overnight.
  6. Pour and drink throughout the day. Enjoy your herb and berry infused water made just the way you like it!
  7. You can reuse the combination of herbs and fresh fruits a couple of times if you are keeping it refrigerated; just add more ice and water until the flavor diminishes.

Infuser Water Bottle

Infusing water has become so popular that there are now Infuser Water Bottles! An infuser water bottle is a special type of water bottle designed with a built-in compartment (infuser) that holds fruits, herbs, or other flavorings. As water passes through or sits in contact with the ingredients, it becomes naturally flavored, allowing you to enjoy infused water on the go.

The key feature of this reusable water bottle is that it has an Infuser Chamber. The infuser chamber is removable or built-in compartment where you place fruits, herbs, or vegetables. It usually has holes or slits to let the water flow through, absorbing the flavors. Infuser water bottles make it convenient to stay hydrated and add natural flavors to your water without the need for sugary drinks. Here is my affiliate link for my favorite on Amazon.

Conclusion

You should try infused water because it’s an easy, refreshing, and healthy way to enhance hydration without added sugars or artificial ingredients. By adding fruits, herbs, or vegetables, you naturally boost the flavor of water, making it more enjoyable to drink and helping you stay hydrated throughout the day. It’s a customizable and nutrient-rich alternative to sugary beverages, promoting overall wellness while supporting digestion, detoxification, and improved energy levels. Infused water is a simple and flavorful way to make daily hydration both beneficial and delicious.

I hope you enjoy this easy way to make your own vitamin water!  Have you infused your water before? If you have, what ingredients did you use? Which fresh fruit and herb infused water would you like to try?

Perfect for a summer party. Good looking, healthy, and delicious. I love the idea of cool eco-friendly containers that separate the fruit and herbs so that you don’t get a mouth full of leaves when you drink out of it. Thanks for the awesome idea. I am going to order a infused water bottle right now.
