Handprint Flowers With Paint Instructions:

Start by grabbing a piece of paper for your card. We chose just plain white but any color will work! We trimmed our paper down a little so that it will fit into an envelope since my kiddos will be mailing theirs to family. Next, you’ll need your child’s hand. Coat the palm of one hand with a thin coat of green paint. This will be the stem of the flower. Carefully place in on the front side of your card leaving enough room at the top of the card for the flowers.

I used my pinky finger and made the center of the flower on each stem. Next, the kids used their thumb to make the petals. Help them dip their thumb into a color and place their thumbprints around the center of the flower. Do this until each flower has a full set of petals.

As a simple craft, we added a little flower pot on the bottom of our flower. Just take a piece of brown construction paper and cut out a small pot then tape or glue it under the flowers. It is a great way to finish the sweet handprint card and I think pulls everything together.

After the paint dries, open the card and let you child write a nice message or you write the message and they can sign their name. I bet whoever receives their handmade handprint flower card will surely appreciate it! Everyone loves getting small little gifts that let them know someone is thinking of them. It is a great act of kindness for your child.

Handprint Art Flowers Conclusion

making handprint flowers is a fun and creative craft that combines art and personal touch. This activity allows children and adults alike to create something memorable, as each flower is uniquely shaped by individual handprints. Not only does it provide an opportunity to celebrate creativity and individuality, but it also makes for a meaningful keepsake or gift. Whether used as a simple decoration or a heartfelt present, handprint flowers capture the joy of hands-on crafting and bring a touch of nature-inspired beauty to any space.
