I have had an HP printer for years now. It was actually one of the first investments I made in my home business. I have upgraded it since then to a wireless HP printer and I recently began hearing about HP Instant Ink. I was curious because “instant ink” sounds good to me! I mean, we have probably all been in that situation where you need to print something right then and your printer is out of ink- such a bummer! So when I was offered the opportunity work to review HP Instant Ink, I was really excited to to try it out and see what I thought about it. This post is sponsored by HP Instant Ink and they did provide the monthly ink replacement service so that I could share my honest opinions with you.
HP Instant Ink Review: Monthly Ink Replacement Service
HP Instant Ink is going to change the way you think about ink. With this life hack, you never have to worry about running out of ink again. In fact, I really should add this to my productivity tips because with HP instant ink I can print the things that matter with the convenience of never having to worry about running out and finding the right refills. Plus, it is cost-saving! You can’t beat that combination!
So how does it work? That is what I really wanted to know. It is easy. I was worried about the hassle of setting it up before I tried it, but it was super easy. Here are the details about my experience with HP Instant Ink.
Sign Up For HP Instant Ink
First, I went to https://instantink.hpconnected.com/us/en to sign up for the HP Instant Ink service. I created an HP account by providing my name, email, and a password. Then I signed up for HP Instant Ink by selecting the service that was perfect for me. I just selected my eligible printer type and my monthly plan (choices are based on pages printed, not cartridges used). There is no annual fee and you can change or cancel plans online anytime.
If you don’t have an eligible printer already, HP just announced the HP ENVY 4520, one of the newest printers featuring HP Instant Ink. The HP ENVY 4520 all-in-one retails for just $99 is available HP.com and other retailers like Staples and Best Buy.
With HP Instant Ink, you never have to worry about running out of ink again because the printer has it shipped to you before you run out! Ink is delivered to your door with plans starting at only $2.99 a month! I chose a $4.99 plan because I figured I print stuff pretty often and because they let you roll over up to 100 unused pages each month.
Check Your Mail For Your HP Instant Ink Shipment
The HP Instant Ink cartridges came in my mail box. I opened up the package and replaced my old cartridges with HP Instant Ink cartridges which have more ink than XL cartridges, so you’ll replace them less often. I popped my old cartridges back in a postage paid envelope that came in the package and sent them back to HP to be recycled. I love that little eco-friendly bonus! Billing and service don’t start after you insert your first HP Instant Ink cartridge. I love that too!
Insert and Print Away
Your ink replacement service is not based on how many cartridges you use, so you can print as many high quality photos as you like. There’s no difference in cost between black and white and color prints, so print what you want, when you want. That’s why HP Instant Ink is the most affordable and convenient way to print what matters most – from school projects to family photos to party invitations to Valentine’s cards.
No more ink anxiety and no more being stuck high and dry. HP Instant Ink makes sure you’re prepared for printing that homework after stores are closed or printing that contract for today’s deadline. With HP Instant Ink you never have to worry about running out of ink again so go ahead, take buying ink off your to-do list! The printer lets HP know when it is running low and they mail replacement cartridges (at no cost to you since you pay by the page not by the cartridge.)
