So here is a trend I didn’t really realize existed- resort lifestyle communities. “What’s that?” you say. Resort lifestyle communities are residential communities. They are designed with custom luxury homes and lots of luxurious amenities so that you feel like you are living in a resort. In effect, you are! Everything the residents could ever want is right there! It is like everything you see was taken from the pages of a beautiful family lifestyle magazine.
Resort Living Communities
“Resort living communities” refer to residential developments designed to offer a lifestyle similar to that of a luxury vacation resort. These communities often include high-end amenities like golf courses, pools, spas, fitness centers, and fine dining options, all within the community or very close by. Resort living communities may cater to specific groups, like retirees, families, or active adults, and can offer services like housekeeping, concierge, and organized social activities.
The goal of these communities is to provide residents with a relaxed, enjoyable, and often maintenance-free lifestyle where they can enjoy leisure activities, social gatherings, and convenient access to recreational facilities in a beautiful setting year-round.
The Grove Resort Lifestyle Community Near Nashville
Of course, I was familiar with gated communities, luxury homes, and amenities. I just didn’t know that they existed with so many amenities. When I received an invitation to visit The Grove, Luxurious Resort Club Living, in College Grove, Tennessee, I thought it would be fun to check it out. It turned out to be quite an eye-opening experience for me. That really gave meaning to the words, resort lifestyle communities. It is basically a safe haven with everything you need and want right there. The Grove is just minutes from historic Franklin and only about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
Private Club Community Amenities
As a parent, I could imagine my children roaming free around the neighborhood for spontaneous playdates. Now there is a novel thought! I could see my kids loving their amazing resort-style pool with beach entry and Robinson Caruso styled playhouse and waterslide. I could picture my family playing a doubles tennis match on their tennis courts. The basketball courts would be getting plenty of use. I could imagine some lazy weekend family fishing in The Grove Lake. I just knew that my daughter would love to take advantage of their exclusive partnership with The Jaeckle Centre, the South’s Premiere Equine Facility, for riding lessons and trail rides. In short, I knew my kids would absolutely love it there.
If I lived at The Grove, I think I would have spend my time with relaxing visits to the the Rosemary Spa for facials and massages. Then I’d probably want to take advantage of the Manor House fine dining and enjoy a delicious salmon salad (like I did when I was actually there). I’d probably want to check out their organic garden and hike through the 60 acres of open space. I may even be inspired to use their fitness center. My husband I would certainly take advantage of golfing on their Greg Norman Signature Golf course. I could even go shopping at their adorable boutique. I told you there were a ton of amenities. My jaw was probably dropping when I was there. I may even have been drooling.
These inclusive resort-style communities even offer concierge services and a full-time lifestyle director to make sure the resort community has everything taken care of that you could desire.
A Real Sense Of Community
According to the Tennessean, “Such amenities make it possible to live a million-dollar lifestyle without the high price tag.” And in a hot market like Nashville has, (Zillow named Nashville the Hottest Housing Market of 2017), it certainly sets homes apart. An added benefit is that so many amenities create a way for neighbors to meet each other. Resort living communities provide an opportunity and place to hang out, and develop a sense of community.
As Susan J., resident of The Grove said, “Outside of already knowing the home style that is best suited to our active family of 4, we needed a space where our kids could play, the animals could be outside and that was close enough to an equine facility that would house our gray and black Appaloosa Sonny. We had a few specific criteria that our new community had to meet: Location, School, Amenities, and Community.”
Conclusion
In summary, resort-style living offers a unique blend of luxury, convenience, and community that brings the vacation experience into everyday life. With a focus on relaxation, recreation, and high-quality amenities, these communities provide residents with a comfortable and enriching lifestyle. Whether it’s the scenic landscapes, extensive facilities, or organized social events, resort-style living is designed to create an enjoyable and low-maintenance environment that encourages both leisure and connection with others. Perfect for those seeking a vibrant and fulfilling way of life, these communities offer a welcoming, all-inclusive approach to modern living that feels like an endless escape.
I love the idea of resort life style living. So, are you like me and new to the whole idea of resort lifestyle communities? Or are you nodding your head and saying, “Yup, that is exactly why we chose our home- for the community that comes with it.” What is the most appealing part of resort lifestyle communities to you?
