4 Reasons You Need A Motion Activated Night Light

Today I will share with you a simple but genius idea- a motion activated night light. These should be standard in every home. Seriously, GE Motion-Activated LED Night Lights can save you from running into a coffee table in the dark or bumping your head on the wall. They just make good sense! This post is part of a sponsored program to spread the “Gift of Light” but all opinions expressed are my own.

Why I Use A Motion Activated Night Light

I love my GE Motion-Activated LED Night Lights. They are just genius. I can’t believe I didn’t always have them. They come in handy for so many reasons.

First of all, a motion activated night light is a really nice feature to have for your house guests. When the in-laws come to visit, I use the motion activated night lights to light up the pathway to the bathroom so they can find where they are going safely and without waking the whole house.

The motion activated LED light is also useful for my own family. Even though we live here, it is still so useful to have the hallway lit up when my kids come to find us after a bad dream. Before we got the motion activated LED lights, I once jumped up in the middle of the night headed to check on my sick child who was moaning and bumped my own head right into the wall. Ouch. If only, I had my motion activated LED light then!

I also find the motion sensor LED light comes in handy for simple, everyday things. Sometimes I turn out all the lights and head to bed and then remember, I need to check my phone or get a glass of water. Instead of turning all the lights back on, I can just have my path lit up for me by the motion sensor LED light as I take care of my last minute bedtime needs.

How to Install GE Motion-Activated LED Night Lights

It is as simple as plugging them in! Yup, so easy. The light is motion activated up to 20 feet away and it remains on for as long as motion is detected. This means you get light as you need it without having to feel around for light switches in the dark and they are energy-efficient. The LED night lights uses just pennies worth of electricity per year! Plus, LED bulbs have a super long life so you don’t have to worry about replacing bulbs.

Where To Use A Motion Activated LED Light

These motion activated led lights add safety and security to any room in your house. They are ideal for bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways. I also use them in my living room in case I need to go back for a book I forgot.

Ever walked through a room at night and tripped over a toy? Then you know one of the benefits of the motion sensor LED light- saving you from injury! These motion sensor lights were designed to help you see the obstacles and bring in added security to your home- for your family and your guests.

The GE motion activated night lights also help keep everyone asleep by avoiding the use of bright overhead lights.

A surprisingly clever use of the GE motion activated night is to illuminate your coffee maker. This way, you are not blinded by bright overhead lighting while you make your coffee. I love this nifty morning hack!

Fall back is coming. Time is changing in early November and these GE Motion-Activated LED Night Lights can help you be ready for those dark mornings. They give you time to adjust more naturally without blinding lights. #LightUpFall

I NEED these all over my house. My kids have to have night lights, but I don’t like glaring lights in the hallways all night long. The motion activated night light idea is genius. You get light when you need it. Great product.

I need something to let the family know when I have a seizure and to help lead me when I need to and my grand children to the bathroom late at night.
