Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day new Laundry Scent Boosters are a plant-based, garden inspired laundry booster. The are concentrated fragrance to help fight musty odors and add some pleasant scents to your routine. They are made with sea salt, essential oils, and plant derived starch.
Mrs Meyers scent boosters add a naturally fresh boost of scent to your laundry routine. Mrs. Meyer’s Scent Boosters can be used for laundry machines or for hand washing laundry. It works for both conventional and HE washing machines. To use Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day laundry scent boosters, just add it into your washing machine right on top of your clothes before starting your wash. Then, your clothes come out smelling fresher!
I find the Mrs. Meyers Scent Booster especially useful as a simple way to freshen up smelly gym clothes or wash bathroom rugs.
I even made a tiny sachet with Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Laundry Scent Boosters for my car and one for my closet! The lemon verbena scent is my favorite singular scent.
Is Mrs Meyers A Natural Laundry Scent Booster?
Mrs. Meyer’s Laundry Scent Boosters are marketed as being made with naturally derived ingredients. They contain essential oils and other plant-based ingredients to provide fragrance to laundry. However, while the brand emphasizes the use of natural ingredients, it’s important to note that not all of the components in the product may be 100% natural or organic. Some synthetic elements may still be present for stability, preservation, or performance.
Are laundry scent boosters safe?
While I can’t speak for all laundry scent boosters, all of Mrs. Meyer’s products are free of ammonia, chlorine bleach, parabens and phthalates. No artificial colors. In addition Mrs Meyers Laundry Scent Booster is cruelty-free, biodegradable, packaged in recyclable bottles. I think that makes them some of the best laundry scent boosters.
The product does contain sodium chloride (salt) and it is an eye irritant so you should avoid eye contact.
