I love a nice warm breakfast on fall mornings after you cross the cold hardwood floors. A warm oatmeal breakfast is full of fiber and sticks with you so you don’t get mid morning cravings. There are so many oatmeal breakfast ideas to dress up a bowl of oatmeal to add some crunch, some flavor pops, and some color. Here are three oatmeal breakfast recipes to get you initiated into the world of oatmeal lover foodies.

For the these oatmeal for breakfast recipes, you will use cooked oatmeal as your base and then add flavorful toppings to make it even more nutritious and tasty.
Basic Oatmeal Breakfast Recipe
1/2 cup of old-fashioned oatmeal
1 cup of water
1 serving
For these recipes I will assume you are using an old-fashioned oatmeal as opposed to an instant oatmeal. It stays with you longer and tastes better. You will bring your water (and pinch of salt) to a boil and then add oats and stir. Turn down to a simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Serve or use as the base level for the following oatmeal breakfast recipes.
Pumpkin Maple Pecan Oatmeal Bowl
1 cup of cooked oatmeal
2 tbsp Pumpkin Puree (sprinkle with a touch of cinnamon and sugar)
1/3 cup of Sahale Snacks Maple Pecans Glazed Mix
2 tbsp Chocolate Chips
1/8 cup Milk
Prepare your oatmeal as directed above and serve your bowl. Then add your toppings. You can get all creative and cute and do a swirl and divide the bowl into quadrants or just pile them on. Then pour your milk over the top and chow down.
Raspberry Crumble Oatmeal Bowl
1 cup of cooked oatmeal
1/3 cup raspberries

1/2 banana
2 tbsp vanilla yogurt

Pomegranate Cashew Oatmeal Bowl
1 cup of cooked oatmeal
1/3 cup of pomegranate seeds (you can sub any type of berry if you can’t get pomegranate)
1/3 Pomegranate Vanilla Flavored Cashews Glazed Mix
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp coconut flakes
