I didn’t know about mom blog giveaways until I started blogging myself and I discovered lots of bloggers were hosting giveaways. Here’s why. Many blogs are contacted by companies that would like product exposure and offered the chance to do a review of the product and host a giveaway. This creates a win-win-win situation for everyone. The blogger will only chose products that match their audience and that they would like themselves- win. The advertiser gets exposure to a matched audience- win. And the readers get a chance to win these targeted products- win. Even better, their only competition are other blog readers so the they usually have low entries with high odds of winning compared to larger giveaways and sweepstakes.
Blog Giveaways often use widgets so track the entries but they usually require that you visit the sponsor’s website and provided extra entries for doing things such as following a social media account, or liking a post.
