The Radius toothbrush design was revolutionary – nobody had ever thought of using very fine filaments or of using a large head to lower pressure on the gums. The idea of actually making a handle that responded to the right and left orientation of the world’s population was regarded as scandalous. The toothbrush head was an organic oval shape – the tufts of bristles arranged so that they did not line up in parallel – this meant that they did not repetitively track along the gum line and cause cervical erosion. I was enamored with this eco-friendly toothbrush for its green value. I wasn’t even expecting much of a huge difference in the performance. However, it really delivers there too. The good news is that it both environmentally friendly and does a great job on your gums and teeth too.
I brushed my teeth and right away I notice that it felt good on my gums. It felt like I was gently massaging my gums as I brushed instead of scratching them! I brushed extra long just because I liked the way it felt! Not kidding, either. I even pulled out the old toothbrush and tried it just to compare. The Radius just feels so much softer on my gums and yet I could really feel it cleaning and see my teeth sparkling when I was done. I also really liked how comfortable the handle was to hold. I love the Source toothbrush and I love that it has replaceable heads!
