Soaptopia Reviews: Natural Handmade Soaps and Body Care

In my endless internet surfing I discovered another great green company- Soaptopia! They make natural handmade soaps, slathers, balms, baths and rubs made with plant-based ingredients, essential oils and wild-crafted raw shea butter from Senegal. Sounds good, right? Soaptopia experiments with a wide variety of natural ingredients including quartz sand from Lake Tahoe, pomegranate extracts, white sage rub and agave nectar. I had to try some for myself!

I was provided with a couple of Soaptopia products in order to facilitate review. I think Soaptopia brings you the finest and freshest, 100% JUNK-FREE body care products and I hope you love them as much as I do.

Things To Love About Soaptopia Natural Handmade Personal Care:

– All Natural
– Handmade
– Synthetic Free
– Most are Vegan (though a few products use wildcrafted honey & beeswax)
– Petroleum Free
– Fragrance Free
– Eco-Friendly
– Animal Friendly

Jolie, the creator of Soaptopia, decided to try to make natural soaps that were chemical and allergen free. “I was allergic to most beauty products like so many others are. The purest and most natural products were so difficult to find, so I decided to create them for myself.”

Soaptopia Natural Handmade Soap Bar Review

I received a bar of eco-friendly soap called Ms. Afro D. Sheak. I didn’t get the play on words at first but after I picked it up and smelled it, it was so delicious that when I read the name again, it immediately made sense to me! This sweet blend of Citrus and Lavender Essential Oils, Black Tea and dried Wild Flowers is really rather like an Aphrodisiac! Soaptopia soap is handmade in small batches with great ingredients like, Italian Olive oil, wildcrafted Shea butter, Coconut oil, Palm oil, Avocado oil, and Organic Hempseed oil. I love the way this soap doesn’t dry out my skin and yet the tea leaves help exfoliate as I wash. Plus, it smells great!

Soaptopia MySALVEation Review

I was also fortunate enough to try Soaptopia Shea Butter Body Salve aka my-SALVE-ation. I thought it would be great for my super duper dry skin on my feet and also for my growing belly to prevent stretch marks. Shea is a natural antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory. This “body butter” contains beneficial vegetable fats that promote cell regeneration and capillary circulation. It is also rich with vitamins A,E, & F and cinnamic acid, which provides natural protection against the sun’s damaging rays.

My-SALVE-ation is Raw African Shea Butter Whipped with Sweet Almond Oil and I just rub some in the palm of my hand to melt it and then apply. It it so healing on my dry feet! I noticed a huge difference after just one application. It is soothing on my belly and really lasts all day long. I highly recommend this to all the other pregnant mamas!

Soaptopia did provide me with the items in the hopes that I would share my honest opinions. I received no monetary compensation and the opinions expressed are my own.
