After over a decade working in an active environment (5-10+ hours of standing/walking per day), I moved to a relatively sedentary office position. At first, it was a welcome respite from the constant movement, but after a while I started to notice numbness and tingling in my upper back. That’s when I became curious about standing desks. I had heard that there were numerous benefits of a standing desk including improving productivity and reducing back pain so I decided to chose a stand up desk converter to test out in my office.
Goodbye Achy Back and Stacked Paper Reams…G Pack Pro Standing Desk Converter Review:
Looking for adjustable standing desk converter reviews? You are in the right place.
Several coworkers, and clients, have converted over to standing desks and offered their opinions on what stand up desk converter I should get. In addition, I did my own research….and I’m SO glad I did. I settled on the G Pack Pro as the best standing desk converter for me and G Pack Pro agreed to provide one in order to facilitate my G Pack Pro review. The G Pack Pro Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk with the G-Pack 11 Dual Arm Monitor Stand (optional add on, which can also be used without the standing desk) is just what I needed!
G Pack Review And Features Of The Best Stand Up Desk Converter:
Here are just a few of the reasons why I find this G Pack Pro stand up desk converter to be superior to its competitors.
1) Sturdy/Solid StandUp Desk Converter Frame Design:
I was initially surprised by the weight of the desk, which shows on the box to be a two-person carry item. For safety, I got a friend to help me lift it onto my desk. In my opinion, once it’s out of the box, it is light enough to lift on one’s own. (I am of average strength for a woman in her 30s.) The weight, sturdy metal frame and horizontal scissor-style lift and lower mechanism give me confidence in its stability, ability to carry the load placed on it, with nothing tipping over.
2) Ergonomics and Precision Height Adjustment:
My company requires annual training for desk ergonomics. This ensures the body is positioned as it should be to minimize over-stress during prolonged sitting. In the past, I have had to use stacked reams of printer paper to adjust the monitors to the correct height. Additionally, I could not stand up at my desk.
With the G Pack Pro Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk, I am able to align the ergonomics perfectly without any fuss in both the seated and standing position. Additionally, as a lady who wears various height shoes to the office, the precision touch control of the stand up desk converter is super convenient. It allows for everything to align beautifully whether I feel like being 5’7″ or 5’10” on any given day. Plus, there is plenty of adjustable standing desk height left over for even taller people. You can even change positions from sitting to standing in just a few seconds.
3) Stand Up Desk Converter Set-up and Cord Management:
Set-up of the G Pack Pro Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk was very simple. The desk was already fully assembled except the six screws for the keyboard holder. However, the addition of the G-Pack 11 Dual Arm Monitor Stand made set up a bit more complex. I very much appreciated the warning label for the swing arm advising the consumer that the dual computer monitor stand arms are under pressure. This type of thoughtfulness goes a long way with me.
Also, there are a number of clips and guides for cord management under the standing desk. This helps to mitigate any chance of pinching or other interference of cords with the lifting and lowering mechanism. The tablet tray includes three openings for cord management. This means you don’t need to worry about having to orient your device in a particular manner; with a left, right, and center opening available, you are covered any which way. I like the easy organization for the cords.
4) Low Motor Noise:
This is the first adjustable standing desk I have come across with the option for motorized lifting and lowering. To be honest, I was a bit concerned about the noise it might make. As it turns out, there is no need to worry. While the lifting and lowering of the stand up desk converter is clearly audible, it is definitely quiet and smooth. Very small for the fun, added luxury.

Conclusion
One of the best standing desk converters features is definitely the precision touch control height adjustment. When it comes to a home office stand desk converter, a desk riser that operates almost effortlessly like this one is a dream. The desk converter turned my regular desk into a sit-stand workstation and I just love it. I also like that my stand-up desk converter has room for dual monitors. I can attest to the numerous health benefits of this more mobile work experience. Like most electronics, it comes with a 1 year warranty. The minimal assembly is another appealing feature and a good idea to save time.
Without a doubt, I am very pleased. I cannot wait for the holidays to be over so I can get back to work on my G Pack Pro Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk with the G-Pack 11 Dual Arm Monitor Stand where I am sure to be the envy of all my coworkers!

Yes, I’ve already had a number of admirers. Plus, I think standing at your desk also makes it easier to leave your office. For example, if I need to ask someone a question and am already standing, then I just walk right out. On the other hand, if I’m sitting, I’m much more likely to IM them instead.
