There are a million wedding chapels in Vegas. I got married at the Silver Bell Wedding Chapel – and it actually wasn’t as tacky as I thought it would be. At least Elvis wasn’t the officiant! Vegas also has DRIVE-THROUGH wedding chapels: http://www.chapelsoflasvegas.com/drive-thru-weddings.html All I can say, after having lived in Vegas for 12 years, is that it is, in general, THE tackiest city in the world, and I thank God every day that I no longer live there! (just my opinion, of course).

I do love Vegas and you are right there are so many places to get married there. My husband and I were married there a few years ago at the MGM Grand Wedding Chapel in the MGM Hotel. It was amazing! Their wedding planner did everything for me and their professional photographer was more than I could ask for. We invited some friends and family to join us for the weekend and we did a lovely reception dinner at one of the Steak Houses. Everyone had an excellent time and they still to this day talk about how much fun it was.

Thanks for sharing this! My fiance and I have been considering a Vegas wedding, and we want to make sure we look at all the best venues. I really like the idea of a classic chapel in Vegas. Plus, the fact that you can get married by Elvis is pretty awesome!
