My overall opinion of this product is very approving. My kindergartener operates the toy cash register very easily. He likes to play “store” with it. We discuss the names of the bills and coins in the register and practice adding on the large calculator while he has fun playing! The price point of this Learning Resources cash register is very good especially for it’s durability. This is a toy that will for sure last a long time and be great for them to play and learn about math.
The toy cash register provides lots of opportunities for imaginative pretend play. My kids can play ice cream shop or grocery store or restaurant and use the built-in solar calculator on the register to learn to add up a bill.
