They make the whole process easy by providing spacious accommodations, multiple on-site dining options, heated outdoor pools, and lots of fun amenities and activities to check out after you check in. The Westgate Vacation Villas Resort and Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa even have an on-site water park for the family to enjoy during their stay! I was provided with a stay at the Westgate Vacation Villas Resort and access to various amenities in order to facilitate this review.
Westgate Vacation Villas Resort and Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa
Both of these Westgate Resorts Orlando Florida have a lot of great features to make them perfect for family fun. First, I will discuss their similarities and later I will discuss what sets them apart. If you aren’t familiar with Westgate Resorts, they have a chain of world-class destination hotels across the United States. To give you an idea of what complete vacation destinations they can be, their motto is, “At Westgate Resorts, when you check in, there’s a lot to check out!” Both of these resorts are near world-famous theme parks but they offer a complete vacation with just on-site amenities!
Spacious Family Accommodations In Orlando
Perfect Accommodations For Large Families (or Small)
With spacious accommodations, these Westgate Resorts are perfect for family vacations and they have the perfect villa for your size family and needs. From a Studio Villa that sleeps 4 with 493 square feet to a Four Bedroom Presidential Villa that sleeps 12 with 2038 square feet. Small families and large families alike can have plenty of space and feel at home. It would also be the perfect location for a family reunion. These Orlando accommodations have all the normal features you might expect from a quality hotel room such as a work desk, Flat-Panel TV with Cable, iron with ironing board, full private bathroom with toiletries and hair dryer, and Wi-Fi Internet Access. They also have some extras!
Separate Shower and Jetted Tub
A fabulous jetted tub will make sure you have the opportunity to enjoy some real relaxation in your room. Don’t forget your bath salts so you can take advantage of that huge bath tub! Or if you do, you can always take advantage of the on-site marketplace to get some bath bombs or anything else you may need.
Kitchenette And Dining Area
Having a kitchenette is a really appealing feature for families. Not only does it offer major convenience, it is also has the potential to be a huge money saver when you opt to cook a few family meals and/or have snack-in! The equipped kitchenette varies with your size of Villa but they all have at least a mini-fridge, microwave, sink, coffee/tea maker, cookware, and flatware. As you can see, full kitchens are an option. Dining area space may be inside or on the patio/balcony.
If you are like me, you may have noticed Westgate has two properties at the Kissimmee address. What is the difference between the Westgate Vacation Villas Resort and the Town Center Resort? They are sort of like a ‘two-for-one’ package deal. In fact, I noticed merchandize that referred to it as ‘Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort’. They both have the same amenities and restaurants. The main difference is the accommodation type. The Town Center accommodations are more like hotel rooms in higher rise buildings while Vacation Villas are more townhouse style accommodations. The spacious villas are great for families.

Water Parks & Pools
The Westgate Vacation Villas Resort and Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa both feature a Water Park with a Pirate Ship, Lazy Rivers, and Water Slides for guests to enjoy! Little kids will love the splash pad, older kids will love the water slides, and adult kids will love the lazy river! This is such a great family fun feature and it means that the water park can be enjoyed around your child’s schedule. Run back to your hotel room for nap time. Get out of the sun or fetch something you forgot. It is all so easy and convenient. Invaluable really when you have kids!
Plus there are pools scattered throughout each resort property. In addition to the water park, the Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa also has 7 outdoor heated pools, 7 kiddy pools, and 6 hot tubs. In addition to the water park, the Westgate Vacation Villas Resort has 14 heated outdoor pools and hot tubs.

There are lots of on-site dining options which means you don’t have to worry about finding a good place, driving there, and finding parking. Just saunter on over!

What is the best Westgate Resort In Orlando, FL?
Well, if this is a family trip you can’t pass up an Orlando resort with a waterpark so Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort or Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa will be right for you. Which one will depend on location and amenities that are most important to you.
Difference in Resort Amenities
Clearly if you want spa treatments, Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa will be very attractive to you. I got a massage while I was there and not only was it fabulous but it was a top notch facility with a complimentary steam room and sauna available to you. Or if you want to rent a pontoon boat, Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa is the right resort for you.
On the other hand, if you want to sit back and relax and watch free films in the Disney Movie theater, the Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort may be right for you. Additionally, I really enjoyed the fancier restaurant options at Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort. I ate at both the Villa Italiano Chophouse and the Los Amigos Mexican Grill & Tequila Bar. You will like these more upscale options if you want to dress up a bit and enjoy a little night out on the town atmosphere.
Difference in Location
The other thing to consider when picking which Orlando Westgate Resort is right for you is location. These hotels in Orlando are both centrally located near your favorite Orlando theme parks and attractions and close to the Orlando International Airport.
