New Years Crafts- Great Ideas To Countdown The Hours on New Year’s Eve
This year I plan to employ a fun activity (baking, reading, playing a game, making a time capsule) , craft (New Year’s crafts below), or small gift (coloring book or story book) for each hour before the New Year. The countdown will be made even more fun by adding the element of surprise and having a sealed bag for each hour of the countdown. If the New Year’s Eve surprise for that hour is an activity, I will just have a fun riddle or clue inside. If the New Year’s Eve surprise for that hour is a craft, I will include the crafting materials in the bag. Alternatively, the bag may contain a gift or a clue to where to find the gift.
You can start the New Year’s bags for kids at whatever time you like and do them every hour or every two hours- whatever floats your boat! This is a great way to get kids excited and provide them with small good things to hold their interest. They will have so much fun!
