I would use it to ride from one place to another on the farm. I use DH’s bike now, and put the baby seat on it for LO, but it’d be nice to have my own!
My current bike is broken. I would get back on my exercise regimen so I can enter a charitable event and ride for a cause so that the bike wouldn’t just benefit me but maybe someone else in my community

I’d give it to my wife. I ride a Schwinn around NYC and have a great kids seat hooked to the back, but my wife does not ride and has no way to join us. This would be a great way for us to get to the park or around town on weekends. Especially since my bike is our car. It’s the perfect thing for us.

Since my vehicle died in April, I’ve had to walk everywhere. The 1 mile round trip hike through the woods to the supermarket isn’t a bad walk, but carrying the groceries back can be tiring. I’m 64. I’d ride the bike to the supermarket, the bus stop, the park and the flea market. All the places I used to go and now cannot. And on those days that I don’t need to go anywhere, I just ride it for exercise. I hate being trapped.

We just moved to a new neighborhood and would enjoy using the bike to “explore” the area. It would be great.
I live in a bike-friendly town. We have bike lanes on all of our major streets and we’re working toward having EVERY street be bike-friendly (and every sidewalk being wheelchair-friendly) within the next few years. I live within walking distance of some things, but within biking distance of a LOT. I would definitely make good use of a bike!

It would be so great to have a true ‘ladies bike’ to ride to the store or over the the farmer’s market. All I have is a mountain bike (belonged to my son, doesn’t fit me really), and it’s just too heavy and clunky. The up-right seating position on this bike is more my style and probably safer on a city street for me. Plus the look of the bike is so charming and stylish.

Going for family bike rides on the towpath.
i just got married last year, and have a ten-year old stepson. i’d like to be able to use my new schwinn bike to plan bike rides with him!
Winning a new Schwinn bike would be SO rewarding in some many ways. Being able to cruise down my neighborhood on a new Schwinn would help me stay in shape while looking fashionably retro! I am transferring to San Francisco State University this Fall, and I’ve had to sell my car to make the move, so I would definitely ride my bike to school and work when I find a job. It’ll also really help me get in shape-even though as my sister likes to say, round is a shape ; )

The first bike I had was one my mother purchased at a yard sale for my sister and I to share. That was back when bike ownership didn’t come so easy so the anticipation of possession was great. Winning would, of course, provoke me to share with my sister again.

Oh we dont have a bike, but got a buggy pull behind for Carter to sit in from a relative. Just need a bike, but just cannot afford it right now. My wonderful parents bought me a Schwinn bike for my 21st birthday 2 years ago so I could ride it around at my University. But a few months later it was stolen off a bike rack next to our gym. So I went from two wheels back to two feet. I would love a new bike to replace the one that got stolen! I miss my bike terribly, and Schwinn’s are awesome!
