I decided to make quick and easy BBQ Salmon Cakes Panko that can be enjoyed either as a brunch option with eggs and toast or sandwich for lunch or dinner.

BBQ Salmon Cakes Panko Recipe
This salmon cake recipe uses only takes a few ingredients and is easy to throw together. This recipe is for 1 salmon cake so if you’d like two salmon cakes, just double the recipe and so on.
BBQ Salmon Cakes Panko Ingredients:
- 1 Chicken of the Sea Barbecue Flavored Salmon Pouch
- 1 Tbsp sliced green onions
- 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
- 3 Tbsp of panko bread crumbs
- 1 Tsp of butter
- 1 Tsp of olive oil
How To Cook Salmon Cakes:
In a medium size bowl, combine the contents of the Chicken of the Sea Barbecue Flavored Salmon Pouch with the fresh green onions, parsley, and 1 tbsp of panko bread crumbs.
Then pour 1 tbsp of panko bread crumbs onto a small plate.
Shape the salmon cake into a patty and place on top of the panko bread crumbs. Pour the last tablespoon of panko bread crumbs over the patty. You are effectively coating the salmon cake patty in panko so that will brown nicely in the pan and have a bit of a crunch to the outside of the salmon cakes.
In a small skillet on medium-high heat, add the butter and olive oil and allow it to heat up as you swirl it around in the pan for a even coating.
Once warmed, cook the salmon cakes for about 3-4 minutes allowing for a nice browning. Then flip once gently and cook salmon cakes for another 3-4 minutes. Gently remove the BBQ salmon cakes panko and serve.
The BBQ Salmon Cakes Panko make a delicious brunch served with eggs and toast.
