ABEO Sandals- The Walking Company Review

I absolutely love my new ABEO sandals that I got from The Walking Company. The ABEO Balboa Sandals really are the most comfortable sandals I have ever ownd. Plus they are sturdy and they look nice. Add those three things together and I am a pretty happy camper! But wait, I am getting ahead of myself. The Walking Company did provide an ABEO B.I.O.system® Balboa Sandal in order to facilitate review.

ABEO Balboa Sandals Come In 3 Fits

Abeo footwear is know for making the “most supportive shoes in the world”. The women’s ABEO B.I.O.system® Balboa Sandal blends casual style, “all-day” comfort and a customized fit. BIO stands for “built-in orthotic” and in fact, the ABEO Balboa Sandal has three customized footbeds to choose from!

With the B.I.O.system technology, there is a Neutral Support Footbed for most people and a Metatarsal Pad Footbed and a Posted Heel Footbed. So you can get just the 3-dimensional fit you need to provide you with the ultimate in comfort.

  • The Neutral Footbed provides enhanced arch support. Ideal for most foot types, providing all-day comfort, support, and stability.
  • The Metatarsal Footbed provides enhanced arch support, with added ball-of-foot metatarsal support. Ideal for high arches, metatarsal support redistributes weight from the ball-of-foot and relieves forefoot pain and pressure.
  • The Post Footbed provides extra support for the medial (inside) of the foot, controlling over-pronation and offering superior comfort. Ideal for low arches and flat feet, a posted heel footbed provides the ultimate support and stability.

I really appreciate having these customized options for the sandal footbed. This was my first time wearing biomechanical footwear and I found it really does help. When your new sandal is made for your foot type, you can feel the improved balance in weight distribution and the way it absorbs impact.

My ABEO BIO System Sandals Review- The Most Comfortable Sandals

I chose the posted footbed since my feet are sort of flatish. In fact, I wore orthotics when I was little, or at least I was suppose to! I really like the extra support that the posted footbed provides to my arches, awesome, in a pair of sandals no less!  ABEO B.I.O.system® sandals proudly carry the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association.

ABEO Balboa Sandals review

I love my ABEO B.I.O.system® Balboa Sandals because they are the perfect sandals. The comfort doesn’t stop at the customized footbed. There is a channeled rubber outsole which absorbs shock and helps lessen stress on your joints. I can honestly say that I notice big time that these sandals increase stability and reduce foot fatigue. The soles also channel water for improved traction creating a non-skid and slip resistant bottom.  The abeo b.i.o.system sandals also offer recommended support for plantar fasciitis.

The strap, made out of water resistant nubuck leather and lycra is incredibly comfortable but still stylish and multi purpose for trips to the pool or with a nice skirt.  They are available in 24 fresh, fun colors to match almost any outfit. I chose the pewter ABEO sandals .and I really love how comfortable and durable they are.

Are you looking for a comfortable shoe that offers significant support? You will love how these ABEO shoes are made for customer’s unique arch type. If you give these a try, let me know what you think of the built-in orthotics. You can share on social media @familyfocusblog @thewalkingcompany @abeofootwear

If you need help getting your feet sandal ready, try this homemade peppermint foot scrub and this homemade foot cream.

I received no monetary compensation.  All opinions expressed are my own.
