- ½ Tbsp melted unsalted butter or coconut oil
- ½ Tbsp milk
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Heaping teaspoon chocolate chips
- tiny pinch of Salt
- ⅛ tsp Baking powder

How To Make Banana Bread In A Mug:
Coat the inside of the mug well with nonstick cooking spray or you can use butter or coconut oil to grease if you prefer.
In a small mixing bowl, mix together wet ingredients and then add all dry ingredients and stir until it is smooth. If making two mugs, just double the recipe.
Pour contents into prepared mug or mug(s).
If you want to pop the mug banana bread out onto a plate, you need to mix it in a bowl so that it won’t stick to the mug. If you want to eat the banana bread straight out of the mug, you can do the mixing in the mug too because you won’t care if it sticks. Less to clean! And the there will be room for that scoop of vanilla ice cream if you use a nice deep mug like this one.
Microwave for 1 minute and then in 30 second additional increments until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Be careful not to overcook your mug cake, it may take 2-3 minutes depending on your microwave’s power.
You can eat your banana bread straight from the mug with a spoon or turn it over to pop it out and put it on a plate. It makes a great breakfast on the go. Or you can add a small scoop of vanilla ice cream to the top to turn it into a dessert dish.
