Manuka Honey Skin Cream Review

I was recently contacted by The Eczema Company.  She said her son suffered from chronic head-to-toe eczema. However, through trial and error using dietary changes along with natural treatments and skincare, they were able turn the table on his skin condition. Her experiences inspired her to create The Eczema Company. It is a great resource for parents to find natural and non-toxic skin care. They even have gentle clothing beneficial for their children suffering with eczema. Furthermore, they offer a selection of skincare which is great for adults with eczema and those with sensitive or severely dry skin. I decided to try Organic Manuka Skin Soothing Cream for my son who has sensitive skin. The Eczema Company provided the Manuka honey skin cream in order to facilitate review.

About Organic Manuka Skin Soothing Cream

As it so happens, my son has very sensitive skin.  He suffers from vitiligo and he also gets these red bumpy patches on his cheeks.  I asked The Eczema Company to recommend a product for this. She suggested Manuka Honey Skin Cream and sent me sample to review.

“Based on a traditional recipe and made in small batches by hand, Manuka Honey Skin Cream is a surprisingly soft and creamy balm, rather than a cream. Organic active Manuka honey, known for its amazing healing powers, is combined with organic tree nut-free oils and beeswax to create a gentle nourishing balm that’s excellent for healing open wounds and soothing irritated eczema flare-ups.”

Benefits of Organic Manuka Honey Skin Soothing Cream:

  • Naturally anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-septic.
  • Reduces eczema inflammation.
  • Supports wound healing.

Manuka Skin Cream Performance

With just six natural ingredients this is an effective home remedy for skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or even just dry, sensitive skin. The ingredients are Organic Olive Oil, Organic Beeswax, Filtered Water, Grape Seed Oil, Organic New Zealand Manuka Honey, and Manuka Oil Extract. I love these highest quality natural emollients. It is dermatologist tested and approved. It has a very mild, pleasant scent and it melts right into my skin.

I find that the Manuka Honey Skin Cream is really more of a balm or salve consistency.  It is very soothing for my son’s skin.  It seems thick at first. However, it just smooths right on to his cheeks and I noticed a reduction in the redness and bumpiness in just a few hours.  Last week, he had some strange sore on the end of his nose. I was probably a scrape from using too many tissues. I used some of the Manuka Honey Skin Cream on that as well and it seemed to have a speedy healing effect.  Overall, I am pleased with the Manuka Honey Skin Cream skincare product. I think it is great to have on hand in my arsenal of natural products to use for irritated skin.

Eczema Company did provide a sample in the hopes that I would share my honest opinions.  I did not receive monetary compensation and the opinions expressed are my own.

My son has had severe eczema since he was 6 weeks old. He is now 7 years, and it is much better, but it’s still an every single day battle (he still doesn’t sleep through the night). I would love to try this Honey Skin Cream that’s up for grabs!
    Thank you for the chance,
