The new school year is back and it is in full swing! I hope that your child is having a great start. I decided to add lunch box notes to my son’s lunch… at least for the first couple weeks! He isn’t having a hard time with the separation of not being with me or anything but I thought he might enjoy just knowing that I was thinking about him while he was at school. If your child IS having a little bit of a difficult time adjusting to the new school year (whether it be him/her being at a new school or in a class with new kids or just misses being around you as much), these little notes might be just the thing to brighten his/her day! I designed these free printable lunch box notes and you are more than welcome to download them and print them out to use!

I thought the cat and bear were very friendly and happy looking! Your child will love the clever little phrases too.

I always remind my children to smile at others and be kind. I thought an extra little reminder during the middle of the day wouldn’t hurt either!

How To Make Your Own Free Printable Lunch Box Notes

If you’d like to create your own free printable lunch box notes, it’s simple! There are a few different websites that you can go to. I used picmonkey to create the ones above and I find that it’s very user friendly. Once you are signed up and logged in, select DESIGN at the top of the page. This will bring you to a white box (this is your background). Simply select a clip art that they provide or upload one that you have saved to your computer. Add some text (provided on the left hand side in picmonkey) and ta-da! You have a lunch box note for your child! Add their favorite animal or picture of a toy that they like…I bet they will have a huge smile on their face when they see it!

These free printable lunch box notes are sure to brighten up your child’s day with reminders of your love as well as to be kind. Do you ever include notes in your child’s lunch? Give these free printable lunch box notes a try soon and let us know what you think!

I have been writing notes on my kiddos lunches for years! Recently I started the business MyLuvkins. We offer preprinted napkins with notes of love, encouragement, and jokes. They are perfect for those early mornings when we don’t have time for a handwritten one! Check them out 🙂
