Green Virgin Products prides itself in offering products that are totally Non Toxic, Eco-Friendly and will save you money! Green Virgin Products is your Source for Natural, Organic Soap Nuts, Natural Deodorant Stone, Stainless Steel Water Bottles, and Moringa Tea Leaf Powder. I was provided with Green Virgin Soap Nuts, which make a great natural laundry detergent replacement, in the hopes that I would share my honest opinions.  I received no monetary compensation and the opinions expressed are my own.

Green Virgin Soap Nuts Review

What are soap nuts?

If you haven’t heard of soap nuts yet, you will be amazed.  I know I was.  Soap Nuts are the fruit of the Chinese Soap Berry Tree. These amazing berries are harvested and then dried in the sun. No chemicals of any kind are added. Soapnuts contain a natural soap called saponin and they can be used as an all natural, totally organic, laundry detergent!  They are also extremely hypo-allergenic and can be used by people who are allergic to all other detergents. This natural laundry detergent alternative is completely natural, green, non toxic and doesn’t pollute our planet!

How To Use Soap Nuts For Laundry

I was able to review the 250 gram bag of Green Virgin Products Soap Nuts.  It contains enough for a minimum of 83 wash loads and includes 1 wash bag. So how does one use soap nuts for laundry?  Easy! I just added 4 soapnuts to the provided little wash bag and tossed it in with my laundry.  I then used that same little pouch and the same little nuts for 5 more loads.  You use 4 soap nuts in place of laundry detergent and you can use them for up to 5 loads.

Do soap nuts work? You bet. My laundry comes out smelling fresh but fragrance free- just the way I like it! Plus these natural detergent nuts also act as a natural fabric softener so my laundry feels great.  These eco-friendly soapnuts are even a frugal laundry detergent option- averaging about 13 cents per load. I am a total convert and I just love them!
