How To Make Handprint Sun Paper Plate Craft:
To begin this cute paper plate sun craft, clear a spot on the tables and gather your craft supplies. Start with your construction paper. Trace your child’s hand several different times and on different yellow papers. We used yellow construction paper and printed yellow scrapbook paper to make 9 handprints for our sun rays. We also drew and cut out some sunglasses and a smile for our sun! Get creative!

Once you have all the handprints and face cut out, it’s time to tape everything on. The kid’s can get in on this part!
Tape each handprint to the back of your paper plate. We overlapped our handprints just little. Keep going around and taping until you have covered the whole circumference of the plate. These represent the sun’s rays.
Now it’s time to add the sunglasses and smile! We just taped the smiley face on as well. Roll a piece of tape up and stick it to the back of your sunglasses and smile.

And there you go…your handprint sunshine paper plate craft is done! My son has hung his on his bedroom door. It’s a nice burst of sunshine when we walk down the hall! These can be hung up on your front door or can even be put on the fridge!
