Pumpkin, Manuka, And Honey Face Mask Tutorial

Give your skin a seasonal glow with this nourishing Pumpkin Manuka Honey Face Mask, packed with natural vitamins and gentle exfoliation.
Pumpkin Face Mask Benefits
Organic pumpkin works best. As the International Dermal Institute says, “Pumpkin is packed with fruit enzymes and alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), which increase cell turnover, to brighten and smooth the skin.” Pumpkin is also filled with wonderful vitamins like A and C which boost collagen production to prevent the signs of aging. Pumpkin has minerals as well…zinc and magnesium, to name just a couple. In addition, it is high in anti-aging antioxidants.
Manuka essential oil is a fabulous addition to this face mask. Manuka essential oil is a concentrated oil steam-distilled from the leaves and small branches of the Manuka tree, which is native to New Zealand. It comes from the same plant family as tea tree but has its own unique profile. Manuka oil is a decongestant and is antibacterial. It helps with the reduction in the appearance of blemishes as it supports clear skin with its purifying and calming qualities.
Honey has natural wound healing properties so it is great for soothing blemishes. According to Women’s Health Magazine, honey can also promote collagen building while it exfoliates and moisturizes. Raw honey adds hydration, soothes irritation, and has natural antibacterial properties.
It is easy to see how these three ingredients come together to create such a wonderful Pumpkin Manuka Honey Face Mask Recipe. You are going to love the results!

Instructions For Manuka Honey Pumpkin Facial Mask:
Gather all supplies and head to the kitchen. Start with your pumpkin and honey. Measure out 8 oz of pumpkin and 2 teaspoons of your raw honey and put in mixing bowl. Mix those 2 ingredients together well.
Once mixed well, add your Young Living Manuka essential oil. Pour 8-10 drops in the bowl and mix with the pumpkin and honey.
Once everything is mixed well, transfer to a small jar with lid.
To use Manuka honey face mask:
Spread a thin even layer over clean, dry face avoiding eyes and mouth. Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse gently with warm water and pat dry with a soft towel. A slight tingling from the enzymes in the pumpkin might occur which is normal. Use twice a week for fresh healthy looking skin. It does not have to be refrigerated and I make a new batch each month.

Pro Tip: Place any unused mask in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator. Because it’s fresh pumpkin and honey, it will only last about 3–5 days in the fridge. Stir well before reusing, as some separation may occur. You can also freeze small portions in an ice cube tray, then thaw a cube when you’re ready for another treatment.
Conclusion
Creating a Pumpkin Manuka Honey Face Mask is a fantastic way to harness the natural benefits of these ingredients for your skin. Pumpkin is rich in enzymes and antioxidants like vitamins A and C, pumpkin can help brighten dull skin, promote cell turnover, and improve overall texture. Renowned for their antibacterial and healing properties, Manuka and honey can help soothe irritated skin, fight acne-causing bacteria, and provide moisture. Adding this mask to my weekly skincare routine keeps my skin firm, hydrated, and gives it a natural glow.
