A Felt Valentine Wreath is a perfect Valentines’s Day craft to do with your kids! This Valentine wreath tutorial is fun, easy and uses items that you probably have around your house making it a relatively inexpensive project. A Mini Valentine Heart Felt Wreath will add the perfect amount of Valentine cheer anywhere around your house. They make the adorable Valentine’s Day Decor so make them for your child’s room, for your front door or even hang in your bedroom or kitchen. One of these Heart Valentine wreaths would even make a great gift to send. Mini Valentine heart wreaths are light weight and easy to ship.

How To Make Valentine Wreath:

Start this Valentine wreath tutorial by untwisting your wire hanger.

You are going to use about half the hanger so you might want to go ahead and cut half of it off. Use wire trimmers or needle nose pliers for best results.

Next start bending and forming your wire hanger into the shape of a heart. You might need your pliers to help you bend the wire. It doesn’t have to be perfectly shaped. Your felt will hide any imperfection spots.

Once your heart is formed, cut your felt sheets in half vertically and then cut small 1-1 1/2″ strips horizontally. They don’t have to be perfect. I didn’t even measure mine!

Now you are ready to start tying your felt onto your wire heart. I packed my strips of felt pretty tight to make a thick Valentines Day Wreath.

Tie strips of your felt until the wire hanger is completely covered. Now you have a DIY Valentine Wreath! I used paper craft rope to tie at the top of my wreath so I could hang it up. Any string/cord/twine will work!
