Family photos are very special. They capture a moment and as parents we all know how quickly those moments slip by. As a mom, I have always been fairly good at taking photos of my kids but I end up missing from 95% of the photos. That is why family photos are so special! And professional photographers take the family photo to a whole different level.

Wait for it…the best part is the photo session is free to book! You only have to pay for photos you want to keep at $15 each or less. I must warn you that they take so many fabulous photos, you will want them all! Shoott photography has managed to maintain a 5-star rating across 38+ U.S. cities and growing. It is no surprise they are a huge hit with families!
How Shoot Works
I went online to shoott.com to book my photo shoot. They have events every weekend with a variety of locations such as Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, Riverfront, and 12th South. The way it works is you pick a location for your photo shoot and then reserve a 30 photo session. Shoott is able to get amazing professional photographers because they help set up a string of customers to make it worth the photographers time. This means that as customers we have access to great Nashville photographers without a sitting fee! It is a win-win-win!
Is a 30 minute photo session enough time?
Yes, a 30 minute session is perfect. Shoott uses experienced professional photographers that know what they are doing and 30 minutes is more than enough time. We got so many photos with a ton of backgrounds and different poses! My Shoot photographer was really wonderful to work with and helped select beautiful backgrounds, angles, and poses for us. You will get at least 40 photos to choose from and they only send you the best ones from your mini sessions. My digital gallery was filled with great photos!
What if it rains for my Shoott photo shoot?
Well, Shoott has professional photographers that make the photo experience work under all sorts of weather conditions. It was raining on the day of my photo shoot but it let up and just misted for most of the time. Our photographer was great anyway!
What types of photo shoots?
Shoott photographers cover a wide range photography styles and you can even give them a heads up for what the photo session style you want on the booking form. Photo session styles they can do include: business headshots, model or acting headshots, dance shots, lifestyle, fitness, family, newborns, maternity, couple, engagement, friends, social media, milestone birthdays and more. The photos Shoott provides are high resolution but I had to minimize them here for faster load time. I just love the results and looking at the photos also reminds me of how much fun we had getting our family photos taken!

Is Shoott legit?
Yes. Hands down, I can honestly say my Shoot experience was my absolute favorite photography experience ever. I loved getting outdoor photos of all of us as a family and in smaller groups and in natural settings with natural gestures and looks. The fact is that I loved my Shoott photo shoot and resulting family pictures so much that I scheduled a session for Sierra’s senior year photos. I paid those out of my own pocket and I loved the results and the price. The fact is that the right photographers and custom shoots make all the difference. The Shoott business model make sit easy to work with photographers’ schedules for given locations and outdoor sessions. We love the way her senior pictures turned out!
