Your skin is your body’s largest organ and it absorbs what you put on it. That is why I often choose natural and organic skin care products. I was recently introduced to Era Organics and I really enjoying their natural skin care routine for combination skin. Their skin care products are easy to use, smell great naturally, and leave my skin feeling super soft and even. I was provided with four Era Organics natural skin care products for combination skin in order to facilitate review.

Natural Skin Care Routine For Combination Skin

Skin Care Routine For Combination Skin

First, if you are wondering what “combination skin” is, WebMD says, “Your skin can be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others, such as the T-zone (nose, forehead, and chin).  My skin is fairly dry all over except a slightly oily chin and nose.  “Many of my patients have combination skin— it’s super common,” said Ranella Hirsch, an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Boston University School of Medicine when speaking to Allure.  Once you realize you have combination skin, it is fairly easy to care for it.

Era Organics Review

This Era Organics natural skin care routine for combination skin consists of two easy to use products. These should form the basis of your daily routine. The two basics in skin care products for combination skin are Cleanse + Restore Natural Face Wash and Complete Natural Face Moisturizer Cream.  You should use the cleanser and cream morning and night.

Cleanse + Restore Natural Face Wash

The Cleanse + Restore Natural Face Wash is a very gentle cleanser. It doesn’t dry out your dry skin or over moisturize your oily skin.  This hypoallergenic formula is perfectly balanced to your skin’s natural 5.5 PH for optimum health and healing.  This natural face wash is sulfate free and paraben free. It is enriched with Organic Aloe Vera and Manuka Honey. It works to moisturize, heal, nourish and renew your skin without any oily residue.  This cleanser does a great job of removing any makeup I am wearing and leaving my skin soft and smooth.

Complete Natural Face Moisturizer Cream

The Complete Natural Face Moisturizer Cream is penetrates seven layers deep, providing your skin with all the essential nutrients it needs to heal and rejuvenate, giving your skin a remarkable look and feel. This moisturizer cream is packed with different vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes to help your skin look and feel its best.

The ingredient list includes:

  • Aloe Vera
  • Manuka Honey
  • Coconut Oil
  • MSM
  • Shea Butter
  • Blue Green Algea
  • Olive Oil
  • Hemp Seed Oil
  • Cehami Extract
  • Cocoa Butter

All of those great ingredients do a great job as moisturizing and smoothing the skin. The cream feels whipped so it spreads on evenly without being too heavy while at the same time being a very powerful moisturizer. For combination skin, you will want to go easy on the oily areas and go heavy on the dry areas when applying the cream.

You will notice a huge difference in how soft and smooth your skin is from just using the cleanser and cream morning and night. Adding the Revive + Microdermabrasion Face Scrub to your skin care routine for combination skin just twice a week will make an even more noticeable improvement in your skin condition.

Revive + Microdermabrasion Face Scrub

The Revive + Microdermabrasion Face Scrub works to nourish, brighten and renew your skin with their gentle Manuka honey walnut facial exfoliator. I use the face scrub twice a week in place of the cleaner. This face scrub gently loosens dirt, grime and dull skin while nourishing your cells- leaving healthy, beautiful skin. It really helps to smooth my skin out by removing the dead cells that are causing rough patches and it also helps to remove and prevent premature wrinkles. My skin feels incredibly soft after using it. I use more and do a little extra extra scrubbing on my more oily areas and on my forehead where I tend to get have more wrinkles. It feels great.

Dead Sea Mud Therapy

You could stop there and have a total package skin care routine for combination skin that would great. If you are the type that likes to add in a mask to your facial (me, me, me!) for the ultimate results, then you will love the Dead Sea Mud Therapy. While the 3 product skin care routine for combination skin that I recommended above just takes a few minutes, this mask takes more time but it is fun and the results are worth it!

dead sea mud mask

The Dead Sea Mud Therapy is a thick mask that you apply and let dry on your face over 10-20 minutes. I use it once a week after the scrub and before the moisturizer. You can make it a spa like experience and lay down and rest with some cucumber slices over your eyes or you can keep rushing around about your business (it doesn’t drip). What I love about this Dead Sea Mud Mask is that it works to absorb excess oils, dirt and toxins while minimizing pores and drawing out blackheads. It is great for treating acne and helping to prevent breakouts. You really can feel it tingle as it increases blood flow to your skin, rushing oxygen and nutrients to your cells. I think this is important to help detoxify for my skin for clearer skin and to help minimize my pores for smoother rejuvenated skin.

Era Organics makes my skin feel even, smooth and soft. -Scarlet, age 40

These four skin care products for combination skin are made to transform your skin in two weeks. I have to say that I think you will notice the results even sooner. My skin felt softer, and smoother after the very first time I used the scrub. Of course it does take a consistent routine if you want to see results for keeping your skin free of breakouts, lessing the appearance of wrinkles, and healing any problem areas or conditions.

I really like the Era Organics products because they all natural and organic ingredients, they feel great on my skin, and they leave my face super soft and smooth.
