I am happy to be acquainted with local Nashville author, Leonardo Ramirez. He introduced me to a whole new realm books- steampunk sci fi books. His steampunk book series for kids is full of imagination and humor. When he released his first book in the series, The Jupiter Chronicles: The Secret of the Great Red Spot, my children and I read it together. My kids loved it and my daughter innocently asked, “Why did it have to end?” You can be sure that when the second book in the new science fiction book series, The Ice Orphan of Ganymede, came out we read it together too. In The Secret of the Great Red Spot we are introduced to two brave siblings setting out on an epic journey into the unknown.
