Brushing your teeth is a skill. It takes awhile for kids to develop good teeth brushing habits and it can be challenging helping them understand that a full two minutes is best when it comes to brushing your teeth. When children don’t learn proper tooth care early, it can be a really expensive first trip to the dentist! I have to tell you that I am so excited to be able to review the new Philips Sonicare for Kids Power Toothbrush because it’s 75% more effective in hard to reach places than manual toothbrushes for better checkups. I get excited about those kinds of results!

Philips Sonicare Power toothbrush For Kids

My son was really excited about his new Philips Sonicare for Kids Power Toothbrush too. I explained to him that his new toothbrush was going to help him do an even better job brushing his teeth and he couldn’t wait to try it out. First we opened the box and took it out. It comes charged and ready to use.

Rechargeable Kids Toothbrush

Your child just sets the Philips Sonicare for Kids Power Toothbrush on the charger when they are done so you don’t have to worry about having batteries on hand for changes or about the toothbrush losing power.

Stickers For Toothbrush Customization

It comes with eight fun stickers so kids can customize the toothbrush and get excited about it being special. The stickers are easy to peel off in case you kid makes a mistake putting them on flat. My son got it all flat and pretty on his third try but it didn’t lose its stick and it didn’t wrinkle or stick to itself as he worked on getting the sticker applied perfectly.

Interactive Brushing App

Built in Bluetooth® wireless technology allows the Philips Sonicare for Kids Power Toothbrush to interact with fun Sonicare Kids brushing app while they learn to brush properly making brushing their teeth more fun and teaching good oral care habits. Use this feature to track your child’s effort and motivate them. Kids use the app to help a “Sparkly” animation brush its teeth well so they enjoy brushing theirs.

500 Strokes Per Second

This is jaw dropper, folks- 500 strokes per second! Let’s be honest- that is probably more than your child was getting in with their whole teeth brushing routine. As your kids are struggling to improve their brushing habits, Philips Sonicare for Kids Power Toothbrush can help pick up the slack since it is 75% more effective in hard to reach places than manual toothbrushes. Better check-ups guaranteed and that is a huge relief for me!

My son enjoyed customizing his toothbrush and then he went straight to work on brushing his teeth. He laughed and said it tickled and he had to get used to brushing his teeth without using the old motion. We talked about dividing his mouth into four quadrants and moving to the next quadrant every time he hears the musical notes sound (every 30 seconds) until it cuts off after 2 minutes. It really helps the two minutes pass by quicker for him and he says his teeth really do feel cleaner when he is done brushing. I am so happy that he is brushing his teeth better and longer every time he brushes his teeth now.

I have found that tooth brushes like this work awesome for my kids, the trio seems to brush their teeth more willingly when they have a rockin’ tooth brush! I think these will be on the Christmas list this year

Thanks for sharing this blog. This would definitely help parents and kids maintain their oral health. We, Brushie Team, also has the same passion for dental care. Brushies makes healthy habits and confident smiles a game they won’t want to put down. Let’s face it, tooth brushing time is not the most highly anticipated moment in a child’s day. When we ask them to stop what they are doing to brush their teeth, we parents make matters worse we ask them to do it properly and for a whole two minutes. The Brushies team has designed a loophole to this universal parental problem. Instead of asking kids to stop what they are doing to brush, we invite them to engage in a fun and exciting game WHILE they brush! With a long battery life, your child can engage in maximum smileage without pesky interruptions.
