prAna Review: Mindfully Made Clothing

prAna makes fashions for women and men, from swimsuits, to yoga wear, to jackets.  One look at their website and you will see they are driven by style- active, comfortable, playful style. But that is not all. Their mindfully made clothing always features eco-friendly choices and sustainable practices. It is clothing you will feel good about and good in!

Prana did provide me with a mindfully made clothing outfit to facilitate review.

prAna “Style Driven & Grounded in Good”

prAna mindfully made clothing

“Our customers are fun-loving, soulful people who travel well, play hard and care about the impact they have on the world around them. That’s who we are, too… And we believe that when you reach into your closet, there should be something there that reflects who you are, how you feel and what you value most…That’s why in our collections you’ll find apparel and accessories that are made using fewer toxins and chemicals. In all that we do, we work toward the most ambitious goals with regard to the use of energy, water and chemicals in manufacturing. As a partner of bluesign, prAna is already guided by the textile industry’s top standards – avoiding, wherever possible, processes that can cause harm to people or the environment.”

I wanted to share with you that information in their own words because I think it says a lot about prAna and what makes them an awesome clothing company to buy from.  Additionally, prAna clothes are created with organic cotton, natural fibers and recycled materials. PrAna helped pioneer Fair Trade Certified apparel and became the first major company in North America to produce and market Fair-Trade Certified styles which is actually how I discovered them.  I love Fair Trade products.

Besides knowing that prAna mindfully made clothing is a good company to buy from, I also just love their styles.  I was browsing the prAna pinterest page when I fell in love with their outfits.  Their stuff is totally my style- fun details, beautiful colors, comfort, and looking sharp all at the same time.  I got the catalog and I seriously could circle way too many things that I want for me and my hubby.  (Makes me rethink minimalism- LOL!)

OK, OK. Now for the prAna review!

prAna Review- Dahlia Skirt and Molly Tank

prAna review

I chose the Dahlia Skirt and Molly Tank to review. I just love the length of the Dahlia Skirt. It is not too short and not too long- practical and flattering. I also love the flow of it when you move. Plus it is 100% organic cotton and Fair Trade Certified! The prAna Dahlia Skirt has clean lines and raw edged style. The jersey knit is soft and comfortable to wear. I was pleased that it seemed to run pretty true to size for me and was a perfect fit.

The Molly Tank was a choice that I made because I love the pattern and dressier style of it while it is still a comfortable tank for summer wear. I also liked that the straps are wide enough to hide my bra straps. It is 100% organic cotton and has a fun dipping back and wrap style to set it apart. prAna goes for the details!

I am enjoying my prAna clothing very much and I can’t wait to try more! If you want to browse their selection or place an order, you can do so at prana.com

Are you interested in trying prana mindfully made clothing? Let me know if you love it as much as I do!
