3 Breakfast Recipes For Amazing Oatmeal Combinations
For the these oatmeal for breakfast recipes, you will use cooked oatmeal as your base and then add flavorful toppings to make it even more nutritious and tasty.
Basic Oatmeal Breakfast Recipe
1/2 cup of old-fashioned whole grain oats
1 cup of water
1 serving
For these recipes I will assume you are using an old-fashioned oats (quick oats, rolled oats) as opposed to an instant oatmeal. It stays with you longer and tastes better. You will bring your water (and pinch of salt) to a boil and then add oats and stir. Turn down to a simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Serve the plain oatmeal as is or use as the base level for the following oatmeal breakfast recipes. If you prefer steel-cut oats, just follow the recipe on the steel cut oats package you are using.
