My daughter has been wanting a princess baby doll from their My First Disney Princess line for some time. However, when she saw the new Merida doll with Angus, she wanted it more than even the princess baby dolls! She loves the story of Merida.

The Merida doll with Angus is brand spanking NEW for Fall 2012! My daughter just saw the movie with her gramma and she really liked it so when she saw the Merida doll set, she was so excited! She has been spending lots of time playing pretend with Merida and her noble horse, Angus. Merida’s gown shimmers and is a lovely plaid. Merida has long, flowing hair and movable arms and legs. Merida can sit on Angus and my daughter tucks her feet into the stir-ups to get her ready for her travels. They have been enjoying tea parties, exotic travels and story time! Merida really is a pretty doll and the beautiful horse is such a nice play companion. I also like that Merida is spirited and a real go getter. I am glad my daughter wanted that Disney princess doll!
Does your child like to play with dolls? I love listening to her conversation with dolls. It shows a lot about how she views the world around her. My favorite is most definitely Merida. She reminds me so much of my 2 redheaded great princess’ (nieces, Lol!) Especially the elder one that is 6. Beautiful girls! Lol! They get the redhair from their Daddy and Aunt Gena (Me) but they’ve all got that bright red and mine is auburn.
