As you can imagine, Education Insights has a wide variety of games and resources. When choosing something for my kids to review, I was struck by their World Map Foam Puzzle. I think that geography is hugely important for kids to grow up with a real sense of the world. It helps them to understand that we are not the only ones with the only way. If you start teaching geography when they are young in a fun way, they will learn it so fast and remember it so much better. I thought the world map floor puzzle for kids by Educational Insights was perfect for this. It is a toy that encourages a mindset of exploration and discovery, promoting lifelong learning.
I was provided with an Educational Insights World Foam Map Puzzle in order to facilitate review. I received no monetary compensation for this review and the opinions expressed are my own.

World Map Foam Puzzle Mat
My daughter got a globe for her birthday and she really likes it. My kids also have a USA puzzle and I love that by putting it together they are getting a sense for how our States fit together and beginning to learn some of their names naturally. I was excited about this world map floor puzzle for the same reason- it makes learning something really important, fun! Plus, they begin to learn it before they even realize they are learning it!
The Educational Insights World Foam Map Puzzle measures 2′ x 3′. The puzzle includes 54 extra-soft foam pieces that are water-resistant and easy to clean. I love that all the countries are labeled and marked by different colors. The oceans are also labeled and there are pictures of animals that are unique on some on the countries. This really helps make the learning fun and easy. For example, I asked my kids where China was and they didn’t know so I gave them a clue that panda bears live in China and they found it right away.
They have taken the world map foam puzzle apart and put it back together so many times. It is durable and soft and a great learning tool! We also discussed the compass on the map and I have them find countries that are south of other countries to help them learn to locate things on the map. This world map floor puzzle is really an invaluable geography learning tool.
