5 Unique Recipes for Your Waffle Maker

I recently discovered that making things in a waffle iron can be a lot more time effective if you’re looking for a quick snack. Cinnamon Rolls from the can or homemade can take up to 30 minutes to bake in the oven, but use your waffle maker and you can knock off at least 25 minutes! This saves a crazy amount of time in the morning or whenever you are munching on Cinnamon Rolls (I don’t judge!). Here are 5 unique recipes that you probably never thought of making in your waffle maker!

Unique Recipes for Your Waffle Maker:

Maple Cornbread Waffles via Spoonful

This recipe really peaked my interest. It’s a cornbread made in your waffle maker and topped with chili, cheese and a touch of maple syrup (yum!). The best part? You can make this in 20 minutes. A super quick and filling lunch made ingeniously.

Waffle Iron Quesadilla via Mo Momma

Okay, so quesadillas are already pretty easy to make… but this Waffle Iron Quesadilla recipe is such a fun new way to do it! Add your chicken, cheese, and whatever other toppings you desire between two tortillas aaand waffle! I can use “waffle” as a verb, right?

Waffled Hash Browns via Food Network

I’m a hash brown girl. It’s my favorite breakfast food, lunch food, dinner food. I think hash browns are for any time! That’s why it’s great that you can make them the quick way with your waffle iron. You don’t even have to worry about flipping your hash browns because they brown on both sides simultaneously. Maybe this is what waffle irons were really made for…

Oregon Summer Panino via The Kitchn

Paninis also seem like they were created first in a waffle iron. This recipe for an Oregon Summer Panino works so perfectly with this kitchen appliance. Check it out for yourself!

Cinnamon Roll Waffles

I tried this easy way of making Cinnamon Rolls in a Waffle Maker from A Hen’s Nest and this is how beautiful they turned out!
