Individual American Flag Cheesecakes Tutorial

Cheesecake bars are incredibly popular for a few key reasons:

  • Convenience:
    • Easy to Cut and Serve: They’re much simpler to cut and serve than a traditional round cheesecake, making them perfect for parties and potlucks.
    • Portion Control: Easy to portion out individual servings, which helps with controlling portions and prevents overindulging.
  • Versatility:
    • Flavor Variations: Cheesecake bars can be easily customized with different toppings, mix-ins, and crusts.
    • Occasion-Friendly: They work well for various occasions, from casual gatherings to special celebrations.
  • Ease of Baking:
    • Simpler Than Round Cheesecakes: Often easier to bake than traditional cheesecakes, requiring less fuss and fewer specialized tools.
    • No Water Bath Needed: Many recipes don’t require a water bath, simplifying the baking process.
  • Rich and Satisfying:
    • Creamy Texture: They retain the creamy, rich texture of classic cheesecake.
    • Flavorful: The combination of the creamy filling and the buttery crust is incredibly satisfying.

If you’re looking for a delicious and crowd-pleasing dessert, cheesecake bars are definitely worth trying!

Cheesecake Bar Ingredients:

  • 1 package of no bake cheesecake – you could make homemade cheesecake if you wanted to but I wanted quick and easy
  • 1 package of fresh blueberries
  • cherry, raspberry, or strawberry jelly

About the No Bake Cheesecake Mix- there are several brands to choose from. You can probably find Jell-O No Bake CheeseCake in your local grocery store or you can order a fancier kind through my affiliate Amazon link-> Birch & Meadow Instant Cheesecake Mix. If the baking mix you choose does not include the graham cracker crust, they are easy to make with just butter, sugar, and graham crackers.

You will be baking as one square cheesecake and then slicing into individual size cheesecake squares.

How To Make This Easy 4th of July Dessert:

Make the cheesecake according to instructions but do so in an 8″ square pan rather than a round pan.

Allow the cheesecake to chill until firm (about 1 hour).

Cut the cheesecake into rectangular pieces, approximately 2″ x 3″.

Place 3 blueberries in the upper left corner of each cheesecake bar.

You will need a piping bag fitted with a small round tip. Use the piping bag filled with strawberry jelly to add red stripes to each “flag”.

Return to the refrigerator until ready to serve!
