Instructions for how to make your DIY Felt Christmas Tree Ornaments:
This is a very hands on activity for the kids! Parents, you may need to cut the tree out (depending on the child’s age) but the rest of the fun is all theirs!! Gather your supplies and head to an open space. We love to spread out on the floor. Grab your felt (all we had was red, grey and white felt). Draw a Christmas Tree on your felt or you can do what I did and you can trace around a cookie cutter! Either way, you need some trees! Once you have drawn a few trees and cut them out, it’s time to decorate your felt Christmas trees.
We grabbed some glitter, a few jewels and foam stickers! Anything works! Let the kids do whatever they’d like to do! Once they are decorated, grab a piece of a pipe cleaner or some string and tape to the back of the ornament so that they can be hung on the tree.
